    UL is seeking a Sample Handler to join our Sample Handling team in Northbrook, IL!

    Responsibilities

    • Management of samples from receiving, lab testing to dispatch using database software.
    • Checking samples against sample requirement and raising to Project team any issues.
    • Ensure samples are managed within our quality process
    • Working with service lines and project team to ensure samples are ready and available for test start in the correct location.
    • Communicating and guiding internal customers on sample return via telephone and email.
    • Support laboratory, engineering and shipping/recieving team
     

    Qualifications

    • Higher Secondary Education
    • Ability to use Forklift
    • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and Excel
    • Physical demands include, but are not limited to, standing, reaching, stooping/bending, walking, and lifting/carrying objects up to 60lbs.
