    As a Revenue Accountant you will perform more complex accounting work with our Account to Report team, for our Software as a Service Business Unit, under minimal supervision.

    • Applies detailed knowledge of fundamental and advanced concepts and practices in areas of specialization.  Perform general accounting work.  Knows when to consult team and management on unusual matters.
    • Performs duties with ingenuity with some latitude for un-reviewed decisions, concerning invoicing and revenue recognition, during review of contracts and sales orders.
    • Communicates with management and employees regarding complex accounting issues related to revenue recognition and invoicing, follows up with recommended solutions.
    • Explains and interprets policies, procedures, and practices. Recommends solutions to a variety of issues. Assists internal and external customers.
    • Assists in the development of new or revised policies, procedures, and programs by performing research and analysis and developing and presenting recommendations.
    • Develops a network of internal and external contacts to obtain, exchange, or provide information.
    • Develops and maintains working knowledge of advanced concepts regarding revenue recognition.
    • Develops an awareness of how decisions made in assigned areas impact work in other functional areas.
    • Stays abreast of current trends and practices in areas of specialization.
    • May provide work direction to assigned lower level personnel and assist in the review and evaluation of assigned personnel.
    • Performs other duties as directed.


    • University Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline plus generally four years of directly related invoicing & revenue accounting experience.
    • Detailed knowledge of accounting theories and practices.
    • Working knowledge of all other accounting procedures.
    • Customer focused.
    • Able to effectively and efficiently communicate through email across a variety of recipients and cultures.
    • Thrive in a dynamic, always changing environment that often requiries task completion in in an ambiguos situation.
    • Works well in a matrix organization.
    • Quick to assess and understand all needs of a transaction and business situations.
    • Able to efficiently and accurately analyze large amounts of data in Excel.
    • Detail oriented.
