    UL Identity Management and Security (IMS) is looking for a talented Java developer to join our small fast paced development team in Edinburgh. UL's Identity Management and Security division is a market leader in secure transaction technologies where we offer Products, Consultancy and Test Centre solutions to customers around the world. As the successful Java Software Engineer, you would work within our Products team where you will be building tools and platforms for testing mobile technologies such as eSIM, mobile handset technologies, NFC and mobile payment systems.


    Skills required:

    • Java language experience
    • Proven ability in Multi-threading & Concurrency
    • Experience with Version control systems
    • The ability to work in an international team environment
    • Good communication and self-organised skills


    Nice to haves:

    • Swing GUI experience
    • Android development
    • Scripting languages, Web or database technologies
    • Experience working with smartcards, NFC, RFID , mobile and cryptography
