    This is an entry level position reporting to the Global Marketing Lead of Renewables. The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate external events for North America and other regions as required, including tradeshows, webinars, sponsorships, customer summits and workshops in support of our wind and solar energy advisory business. 

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Collaborate with business development, sales and tradeshow manager to create individual event strategies, messaging,  goals, and track ROI.
    • Track all activities in UL tradeshow portal.
    • Help to develop and coordinate booth graphics, collateral and other booth material.
    • Occasionally serve as on-site coordinator to ensure seamless event execution.
    • Use marketing automation tools to develop promotional email content and execute email campaigns and web pages
    • Track budget and expenditures related to events.
    • Provide support as needed to the global marketing team to execute global strategies with regional emphasis and ensure tactics are aligned with overall EPT goals and adhere to UL brand guidelines.
    • Write, edit and proofread communications copy for accuracy and to ensure consistency of UL brand messaging, positioning, and value proposition.
    • Prepare compelling messaging and content for promotions across various channels that supports strategies and brand awareness.
    • Other responsibilities could include helping to create integrated marketing materials for initiatives and launches aligned with strategies for our key vertical markets: solar, wind, and energy storage/e-Mobility, as well as assisting with CRM input and data management, client organization and reporting.

    Qualifications

    • University degree in Marketing, or related field
    • 1 – 2 years of related experience. 
    • English fluency
    • Values innovation and flexibility, is proactive, motivated and a self-starter
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Meets commitments and required timelines
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high quality, attention to detail and exceptional customer service
    • Experience working in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
    • Excellent writing and editing abilities in additional to oral communication
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Proficiency with CMS platforms (Wordpress), and online webinar tools (GoToWebinar) would be an asset.
    • Some experience with Adobe Create Suite would be an asset
    • Some experience with video editing would be an asset
    • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce), email marketing platforms (Pardot) is preferred.
    • Travel requirement: Occasional.
