    Responsibilities

    The Sales Executive – Retail & Industrial Food Safety will be responsible for new account development for food safety audits & advisory services within the restaurant, convenience, grocery, hospitality and industrial spaces across the US. This position can be based anywhere in the US.

    • Identifies and pursues prospects through various lead generated activities, including tradeshow, direct mailing, advertising, cold-calling, on key industry players and referral program.
    • Meets with prospects to understand their needs, pain points, decision makers and decision making process criteria.
    • Supports the development of sales presentations. Supports the sales presentations in support of growing the clientele for ULs services.
    • Provides value propositions, handles objections, prepares quotes, and closes sales by getting prospects’ commitments.
    • Retains existing customers that are not managed by account management teams.
    • Performs other duties as directed.

    Qualifications

    • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors degree) in a business or sales related field.
    • Two to five years of direct selling experience is required and food safety sales experience is highly preferred.
    • Experience with GFSI and / or FSMA experience is preferred.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely.
    • Demonstrated ability to execute projects to stated objectives.
    • Significant business travel and work outside of the office required.
