Perform moderately complex tests to ensure software is working properly. Report defects and partner with software teams to ensure time resolution of software issues. Monitor software implementation and enhancement projects. Assess current software tests and plan the testing schedule. Provide recommendations for new methods and criteria to be tested. Provide training and support associate analysts with more complex tests and issues. This position qualifies for the UL LLC employee referral program.
Master’s degree computer science, software engineering or related and 1 year of QA experience. In lieu of master’s degree plus one year of experience, employer will accept a bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience in the same fields.
Must have experience with the following: 1)1 year software development experience with automated tests; 2) SQL and C#; 3) Using Selenium to write test scripts; 4) SpecFlow; 5) Experience with chemical and formulated products industry to understand software reporting requirements.
