    Responsibilities

    Supervises the staff and daily operations of the Consumer Laboratory and Audit-Inspection teams. Responsible for assisting in scheduling, assigning, reviewing and coordinating workflow to assure proper utilization of staff. Trains assigned staff and operates as a working supervisor within defined limits of responsibility.

     

    • Supervises the day-to-day delivery of high quality testing services for certain product groups. Monitors daily productivity and quality of work and allocates resources as required.
    • Supervises testing projects concurrently and ensures completion within time frames. Evaluates products against requirements of the national/international standards and precedent decisions. Makes technical decisions.
    • Resolves customer issues on a regular basis. Identifies and resolves customer complaints and employee related performance issues.
    • Ensures the team's understanding of and compliance with all established policies

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline plus generally 8 years of directly related experience.
    • Familiarity with Compendial Methods such as ISO, TAPPI, ASTM, and USP.
    • Proficient in Microsoft related products such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
    • Experience with Laboratory Information Management System.
    • 2nd shift position - 2:30pm-11pm - Monday-Friday
