    The Common Criteria Group Leader develops operating, maintenance, and test procedures. Schedules, assigns, reviews and coordinates workflow to assure proper utilization of staff. Trains assigned staff and operates as a working supervisor responsible for department operations. Managerial duties include quality control, scheduling of work, and equipment design and installation.

    • Prepares instructions procedures, quality control, and maintenance.
    • Examines requests for new and/or modified equipment to determine equipment needs. Develops operating, maintenance, and procedures based on standards and policies. Monitors test methods and procedures and evaluates need for technical training of assigned staff and modification of equipment, methods or procedures.
    • Develops annual budgetary goals, capital expenditure budget for equipment, and tactical plans for the assigned laboratory section.
    • Records, observes or calculates data on appropriate forms and prepares data sheets and reports.
    • Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
    • Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
    • Maintain/improve technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, obtaining applicable certifications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of the art practices and participating in professional societies and cross-departmental task forces.
    • Performs other duties as directed.


    • University Degree (Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree), preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Software, Security or a technically related discipline and 7+ years of related experience
    • Proven experience in customer-facing advisory services, technical expertise, and communication skills
    • Able to quickly adapt to various technical and organizational environments, and ability to coach other team members
    • Thorough knowledge and experience with Common Criteria, ability to run a team of Common Criteria evaluators and to present to customers and certification authorities
